(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Monday, during an appearance on “Mornings with Maria,” Gordon Chang, the senior fellow of the Gatestone Institute, warned that the recent increase in migrant encounters on the U.S.-Mexico border could mean that the U.S. would soon need to worry about a possible war with China on U.S. soil.
As he pointed out, there is no indication of the number of Chinese males who have entered the U.S. through the southern border without being apprehended. He added that there is a clear “sabotage problem” in the country right now. He continued by warning that Americans will soon need to worry about possible attacks on reservoirs, shopping centers, and even military bases. He added that they would also need to fight a war in Asia and in the U.S. As he pointed out, this will be the first time that this has occurred since 1812.
On Friday, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that in August there were a record number of migrant encounters. Within the month, there were more than 200,000 encounters, which was a new record for this calendar year as well as for any August on record.
Last Wednesday, Rep. Mark Green, R-Tenn., chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, told Maria Bartiromo that more than 18,000 Chinese nationals had been apprehended along the U.S. border. He added that these were military-age men who had most likely escaped from China because of the economy and the rule of President Xi Jinping. However, he warned that some of them could also be “saboteurs.”
