(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Thursday, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley blasted President Joe Biden for having “begged” in order to have a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The meeting between the two country leaders is set for Nov. 15 in San Francisco.
The White House has described the upcoming meeting as the most crucial bilateral meeting to have occurred during Biden’s term in office. Last November, the two leaders met face-to-face at the G20 summit in Indonesia.
In a Fox News interview, Haley stated that they had seen how Biden had “begged” in order to get this meeting. As she pointed out, the President had decided to send four Cabinet members to try and “court” Chinese officials. She then questioned what they would talk about during the meeting.
Haley added that there were many things that needed to be discussed, but that the things she guaranteed would come out of the meeting were the two presidents discussing the environment, weather, and how they would collaborate on that. She added that Biden would not call the Chinese out on anything else, which is why President Xi had agreed to the meeting, as they do not fear Biden or worry about what he will be doing.
The White House has not talked extensively about the meeting deliverables; instead, they have focused on military-to-military line communication with China being resumed. The communications had been broken off in August 2022 after a visit by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to Taiwan.
