(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Tuesday, President Joe Biden used his speech at the 115th NAACP National Convention in Las Vegas to issue a warning over what is at stake in the upcoming presidential election, especially for Black voters.
Biden, during his speech, talked about the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, which former President Donald Trump has denied any connection to. The controversial plan provides an insight into what many conservatives are planning on pushing during a possible second Trump administration.
Biden argued that MAGA officials were going to “undo” all that the NAACP stood for and that they would push to take away their right to vote and have their vote counted. He added that they would impose abortion bans across the nation and that this was not him being dramatic but rather the reality.
Biden pointed out that this is something they could not allow to happen. While Trump has maintained that he has no connection to Project 2025 many Democrats have been focused on the plan ahead of the presidential election in November.
Biden also used his speech to promote what his administration is going to do for Black voters if he is elected a second time. He claimed that he would push for congressional protection against voter suppression and that he would work on passing police reforms.
Finally, he argued that his administration would work to legalize abortion access across the country, which has been restricted since the overturning of Roe v. Wade two years ago by the Supreme Court.
