(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former Republican California Governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger said that it was time for politicians from both parties to step back and allow a new generation of leaders to emerge.

On Tuesday, the 76-year-old actor stated that it was time for fresh blood to come into the Republican and Democratic parties. He added that people like 81-year-old Mitch McConnell, the Senate Minority Leader, who has recently been freezing up in front of reporters, should consider stepping down from their position and allowing a new generation to be elected.

During his remarks at The Wall Street Journal’s Tech Live Conference, Schwarzenegger did not outright state that President Biden should not try to win a second term in office, but he did argue that it was time for both parties to look for “the new breed.” As he said, this was a very interesting conversation to be had, as there has never before been a time when political leaders have remained in power until they are so old.

Schwarzenegger also encouraged 56-year-old California Gov. Gavin Newsom to join the 2024 presidential race and praised 69-year-old Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for joining the race. Kennedy’s cousin, Maria Shriver, had been married to Schwarzenegger for close to 20 years.

During the two terms that Schwarzenegger served as governor of California, from 2003 to 2011, Kennedy served as one of his advisors on environmental policy. Kennedy has now joined the presidential race as an independent.

Schwarzenegger claimed that there were many interesting characters who had joined the presidential race and were trying to win the White House.
