( – Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., berated Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., for not making any remarks after there were two police officers in her district that had allegedly been shot by a Venezuelan gang member.

Malliotakis in his comments used the words of the New York representative against her, as last month during a congressional hearing Ocasio-Cortez had been involved in an exchange with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., where she had used the same term.

In a post on X on Tuesday night, Malliotakis opened up by tagging Ocasio-Cortez and writing “Hey Baby Girl.” He proceeded to point out that in her district an illegal immigrant had allegedly shot two police officers. As he pointed out it was now discovered that the illegal immigrant was a Venezuelan gang member who was being housed using taxpayers’ money, and yet, she had not made any comments about it.

The Houe GOP, whose district includes New York City, included in his post a screenshot from a New York Post report where it was stated that the sources had found that Bernardo Raul Castro Mata, 19, who had been arrested for the shooting could belong to the Tren de Aragua gang. This determination was made based on his tattoos.

Authorities have claimed that the man entered illegally into the country last July and that he is now being housed at an East Elmhurst, Queens migrant shelter.

While the man does not have any previous arrests in New York City, the police have noted that Castro Mata is suspected to have been involved in a number of robberies.
