( – On Tuesday, a resident in Vermont stated that she had made some “unsettling” discoveries on her property but outside her home.

Kristy Brow, a Highgate resident has claimed that her security cameras have caught migrants crossing through the northern border outside her home. She added that she has also found abandoned belongings as there is a continued increase in the number of encounters along the northern border.

During an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” she argued that she refused to go outside on her own and that she feared for her safety. She proceeded to tell Griff Jenkins on Tuesday that it was scary when one did not know what might be lurking in the woods.

She then said that as is visible in the video they have found various different things in their field, including water thermoses, clothes, and other things. She pointed out that her son had been out there and that Border Patrol could often be seen following footprints which did not make her feel too safe.

Brow is currently residing in the Swanton Sector which has been facing an influx of illegal crossings.

Robert Garcia, a U.S. Border Patrol Swanton Sector Chief Patrol, stated that since Oct. 2023, there have been a total of 3,100 apprehensions from 55 countries. In a previous post on X, formerly known as Twitter, he added that in the last quarter, there has been a higher number of encounters than in fiscal 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 years combined in the Swanton Sector.
