(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – California Rep. Adam Schiff (D) released a new Jan. 6-themed advertisement warning about the dangers that the country is facing following the recent victory of former President Donald Trump in the Iowa caucus.
The advertisement has the title “Danger” and speaks about Schiff’s efforts to have Trump be held accountable for a variety of issues. Schiff had been the lead House Manager during the first impeachment of the former President.
In the ad, a narrator says over clips of Jan. 6 rioters that Schiff had stood up when democracy was in danger. He added that Schiff had taken on a corrupt president and had fought for American values and the rule of law. However, as the video continues the narrator states that there is an even greater danger that they are facing. As that statement is made a clip of the New York Times headline about why Trump’s potential second administration would be even more radical.
Schiff’s office has stated that the advertisement has the support of a five-figure buy. In June Schiff was censured by House Republicans because of his continuous criticisms of Trump.
Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) had also forced Schiff to exit the House Intelligence committee, despite having been the committee’s chair for four years. Last January, Schiff announced that he would be trying to win the Senate seat that was previously held by the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) who had passed away in September 2023.
The primary race for that seat is crowded, but Schiff has received the support of many key politicians including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
